2020 Camps

 

Rock Camp 

*Tuition and registration to come

Ages 12-18

June 15th-19th

Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm 

Students will learn to play and work with others in a jam setting. Group improvisation, communication skills and independence as musicians and performers will be encouraged. Students will be taught 3 songs to cover, finishing the week with a performance at Jewell Tone Music. 

 

Crafty Kids Camp

Ages 7-9

June 22nd-26th

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

Crafty campers will have access to a variety of mediums and be able to choose from different projects that will encourage them to express their creativity. Projects will range from simple to slightly more challenging to give them opportunities to both explore their individual interests and have fun collaborating with peers.

 

Drama Camp I

Ages 7-9

June 29th-July 3rd

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

Our week-long camp for kids aged 7 to 9 will include a variety of games and activities that will introduce campers to movement, voice projection and singing on stage, as well as improvisation. We will have many collaborative sessions where campers will learn how to work together on stage. We will also be crafting, mask-making and costume-making.  Your child will choose a short poem or monologue to perform on the last day of camp for our family showcase.  The purpose of this camp is to bring out the creativity of each camper while we learn about different aspects of the theater.

 

Vocal Camp

Ages 12-16

July 6th-10th

Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm

Join us for a week long camp full of fun and hard work developing vocal skills that will take any young singer to the next level in their understanding of voice. There’s more to singing than many realize so we want our vocal camp students to gain as many tools in their belt as they can in order to make smart vocal choices and take care of the gift they have. During the week we will explore a wide variety of vocal styles and the techniques that make each style unique. We’ll learn how to use these techniques to develop unique styles that are intentional and work well with our own voices. Participants will have opportunities to learn and perform solo pieces as well as sing together as a group.

The week will conclude with a performance where the students will showcase the skills and pieces they have learned during the camp.

 

Art Camp

Ages 10-12

July 13th-17th

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

In this dynamic experience campers will be introduced to a variety of artistic styes and mediums that will allow them to explore their creativity. Campers will be given an outlet to express themselves as individuals as well as through fun collaboration with peers.

 

Musical Experience Camp

Ages 8-14

July 20th-24th

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

We will be diving into multiple instruments found in popular music and performance. Learning what instrument and style of music fits you best! Live demonstrations from professionals in the music industry. And an in depth look at what it means and takes to be a performing musician.

Specific instruments will be guitar, bass, drums, voice, piano.

 

Advanced Rock Camp

Ages 12-18

July 27th-31st

Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm

August 3rd-7th

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

Our week long summer camp will introduce kids aged 10 to 12 to a variety of skills needed to act on stage. Kids will learn about movement, voice projection and singing on stage.  We will introduce improvisation techniques and have fun with comical improv.  Students may collaborate and/or perform individually on the last day of camp for our family showcase. The purpose of this camp is to work on movement, voice and stage presence and improv techniques while we learn about the most effective methods for onstage acting.
