ART LESSONS AND PROGRAMS
Creative Exploration
Fun, creative learning through guided, step-by-step projects.
Help begin your child’s creative journey through our new Creative Exploration class! From painting and paper projects to textiles and seasonal crafts, every class gives your child the chance to explore new materials, try fun techniques, and bring their ideas to life.
For ages 5-8, it’s all about creativity, imagination, and the joy of making something uniquely their own.
Each session introduces a fun, hands-on activity—such as painting, collage, paper sculpture, or mixed-media design—focused on developing foundational art skills in a playful, supportive environment. Students will learn how to:
Mix and blend colors to create mood, harmony, and contrast
Experiment with shapes to build visual interest and balance
Practice basic composition by organizing elements into creative, eye-catching designs
Incorporate holiday themes into unique, personal artwork
The class emphasizes self-expression, creativity, and confidence-building while introducing simple art concepts that support early visual thinking and design awareness. All materials are provided, and every project is designed to be fun, festive, and easy to complete.

Additional Notes
This class operates on a monthly membership basis, with each month covering four 1-hour sessions.
If your child misses a class, make-up sessions are available on the opposite day of the week (for example, if your child normally attends Tuesday, they may make up the class on Thursday).
Missed classes can also be carried over: if your child misses a week, they can use the make-up credit in addition to their regular class the following week (for example, attending both Tuesday and Thursday).
This ensures every student has the opportunity to complete all four sessions each month while keeping scheduling flexible.
